Family Function, Elevated

Approach:

In the laundry room, we focused on blending function and joy. We added a wall of custom cabinetry with ample storage and a full utility sink, burying the appliance plumbing into the wall for a clean, streamlined look. A large folding table and hanging bar made laundry more efficient, while playful wallpaper, a new flush-mount light fixture, custom Roman shades, and a cheerful runner added personality and warmth. Fresh light-gray porcelain floors and a bright white backsplash completed the transformation, giving the room a crisp, uplifting feel.

For the kids’ bathroom, functionality led the design. We removed the dark builder-grade vanity and replaced it with a semi-custom piece topped in marble. To make the space more usable for multiple kids at once, we installed a pocket door separating the vanity area from the toilet and shower. Terrazzo floor tile and coordinating shower tile brought a fun, modern touch, while a new glass shower door allowed light to flow through. Updated mirrors, fixtures, and fresh white paint tied everything together into a bright, happy, kid-friendly space.

Delivery / Result:

The result is a pair of hardworking spaces that feel both joyful and intentional. The laundry room now feels like a place to enjoy, not endure, organized, bright, and brimming with charm. The kids’ bathroom is now perfectly suited for the family’s morning routine, with thoughtful separation and playful design that makes sharing easy.

Both rooms showcase how practical upgrades, custom details, and a little bit of color can transform everyday routines into moments of ease and delight.
