Finding the right artwork is one of my favorite parts of finishing a home. It’s often the layer that makes a space feel personal and complete rather than simply well designed. Over the years, these are the Cincinnati art galleries I’ve returned to again and again, both for my clients and for my own home, when I’m looking for pieces that feel thoughtful, original, and lasting.

We regularly partner with Midnight Gallery for its beautifully curated modern collection. The pieces they represent feel distinctive, refined, and highly livable within residential interiors. Lauren and Leslie are wonderful collaborators and bring a thoughtful, creative perspective to every project, which makes the process of selecting artwork especially enjoyable.
Representing early twentieth-century American art from both local and national artists, Eisele offers a wide range of styles, from traditional to more expressive and avant-garde work. Each visit brings new discoveries, and we consistently find exceptional pieces that layer history and character into the homes we design.
Art Resource Team features original artwork, unique ceramics, and handmade jewelry, along with in-studio custom framing and installation services. I have known and worked with Inez since my early days as a designer and still have several of her pieces in my own home, which speaks to how timeless and personal her work feels.
Pendleton Art Center is one of my favorite places to explore when looking for emerging local artists. With multiple studios under one roof, it’s a wonderful place to discover original work across a wide range of styles and price points. It’s especially fun to visit during Final Friday open studio nights.
Carl Solway Gallery has long been one of Cincinnati’s most respected contemporary galleries, representing nationally and internationally recognized artists. It’s a great place to look when you’re searching for something bold, unexpected, and conversation-worthy.
Gallery Veronique offers a thoughtfully curated collection of contemporary work by both regional and national artists. Their exhibitions rotate regularly, which makes it a great place to revisit if you’re in the process of slowly building your collection.
If you’ve ever walked into a room and felt like something was missing, it’s often artwork. Original pieces bring warmth, personality, and a sense of story that furniture alone can’t create. Even adding just one meaningful piece can shift how a space feels. And one of the best parts of living in Cincinnati is that we have so many wonderful galleries right here to explore when you’re ready to start looking.
